Job Description The Provincial Support Services Manager will ensure effective and efficient functioning of key provincial operations including human resources, membership, statutory obligations, VRM, candidate selection, performance assessments, facilities management, information systems & technology, provincial administration, and management of party offices (including health and safety). The role involves managing and directing all support staff.
Requirements Minimum Requirements National Senior Certificate or equivalent Tertiary qualification in Administration, Business, Operations or Management (advantageous) Relevant staff management experience (including project basis or Party’s Management Readiness Programme) Extensive experience in logistics and facilities management/support services Extensive experience in creating and implementing systems Extensive experience in project management Experience in recruitment, selection, and performance management (advantageous) Intermediate information systems and technology skills Strong computer literacy (MS Office Suite, Zoom) Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle for daily business use Skills Coordinating and leadership Written and verbal communication Time management and organisation Administration and attention to detail Abilities Process and understand complex and technical information Analyse and interpret statistical data Apply sound judgement and decision-making Manage multiple tasks with competing priorities Use initiative in high-pressure situations Work effectively around demanding schedules, including irregular hours Be outcomes-orientated Work independently Knowledge and Commitment Knowledge of local, provincial, and national political and legislative framework Commitment to Democratic Alliance principles, policies, and programme of action Willingness to work long and irregular hours, weekends, and public holidays as necessary Application deadline: 23 September 2026.
