Our Lake Nona team includes board-certified Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Psychologists, and Therapists serving patients across the lifespan—from early childhood and adolescence through adulthood and geriatric care. This is an opportunity for a PMHNP who wants more than a traditional outpatient role. The Role As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at My Psychiatrist Lake Nona, you will provide outpatient psychiatric care within a collaborative, physician-led environment designed to support both clinical excellence and operational efficiency.
You will: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a diverse psychiatric patient population Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric care Collaborate closely with Psychiatrists, Therapists, Psychologists, Care Coordinators, and Clinical Leadership Maintain clinical documentation using AI-assisted tools and modern systems Participate in an integrated care model built around access, continuity, and patient outcomes This is not a production-line environment.

What You’ll Own Comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment planning Medication management and patient follow-up care Clinical documentation completed accurately and efficiently Collaboration across multidisciplinary treatment teams Patient continuity, safety, and quality outcomes Strong communication with patients, families, and clinical support teams Optional exposure and growth opportunities include: TMS & neuromodulation SPRAVATO® treatment support Clinical mentorship pathways Leadership development Research collaboration opportunities Required PMHNP-BC certification Active Florida APRN license (or willingness to obtain) Active DEA license Bilingual English & Spanish Strong commitment to patient-centered psychiatric care Comfort operating within a collaborative clinical environment Preferred Experience in outpatient psychiatry Experience treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and related psychiatric conditions Familiarity with TMS, SPRAVATO®, or interventional psychiatry (preferred, not required) What Success Looks Like Successful PMHNPs at My Psychiatrist: Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care consistently Operate independently while collaborating effectively Maintain strong documentation and clinical standards Build trust with patients and clinical teams Balance efficiency with human connection Grow into leadership, mentorship, and expanded clinical opportunities over time What
