Job Title: Psychiatrist – Region 3 Location: Lucasville, OH 45699 Shift: Flexible; core hours typically between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Hours per Week: 16 – 20 (Part-Time) Duration: Minimum six-month assignment, with potential for extension or permanent placement Position Summary We are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Psychiatrist to provide high-quality behavioral-health services on a part-time basis to an adult male population in a secure clinical environment.

The psychiatrist will conduct comprehensive evaluations, manage treatment plans and medications, and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role offers a flexible weekday schedule, no nights, weekends, or holidays, and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a structured and mission-driven care setting. Key Responsibilities • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with psychiatric and behavioral-health conditions.

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and document findings in the electronic health record (EHR). • Prescribe, monitor, and manage psychotropic medications following evidence-based standards. • Order and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests as clinically indicated. • Refer patients for specialized or higher-level medical or psychiatric care when appropriate.

• Collaborate with nursing, medical, and behavioral-health staff to coordinate individualized care plans. • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities, peer reviews, and interdisciplinary case discussions. • Ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory requirements. • Manage a caseload of approximately 75 – 100 patients, meeting with 12 – 16 patients per 8-hour shift.

Required Qualifications • Active, unrestricted Ohio Medical License. • Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry. • Doctoral degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited medical school. • Current DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain). • Minimum one year of recent clinical experience in psychiatry or behavioral health. ________________________________________
