Job Description; Job Title : Psychiatrist Locations : Chillicothe, OH 45601 Duration : 6 months to long term Shift: Standard shift (2 shifts/16 hours per week) Job Duties; •Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for behavioral health patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system.
•Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports. •Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing •Managing medication. • Making referrals for specialized care or treatment. •Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards •Participating in continuous quality improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews.
•Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed Minimum Education Level: Doctoral Degree Required Credentials: Board-certified psychiatrist Active CPR/BLS
