Physical Therapist – Acute Care Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Day shift, 5×8 hours (08:00 – 16:00). Flexibility for four 10-hour days if needed. Job Description The Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality care in an acute care setting. The role requires handling more than 8 patients per day, conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy interventions.
Candidates must be able to work during upcoming major holidays, with a requirement of working 2 of 3 holidays if the contract extends over these dates. Responsibilities Conduct evaluations and assessments of patient conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Provide therapy interventions to improve patient outcomes. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Educate patients and families on treatment goals and rehabilitation processes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care settings. Licensed Physical Therapist in PA or holding a Compact PT Licensure. EPIC experience required. Availability to work on major holidays.
