Implement and manage protection arrangements during traffic hours, engineering hours, and depot works Act as Site Person in Charge (SPC) where appointed Ensure safe systems of work are briefed, understood, and adhered to by all operatives on site Undertake vegetation and chainsaw operations in line with NPTC certification Conduct site briefings and maintain accurate protection documentation Monitor compliance with rail standards, risk assessments, and method statements Liaise with control, engineering supervisors, and client representatives as required Stop work where unsafe conditions are identified Support the safe and efficient delivery of vegetation and fencing operations Sentinel (valid sponsorship required) PWT - TH (Protection Work - Traffic Hours) PWT - EH (Protection Work - Engineering Hours) PWT - D (Protection Work - Depots) SPC - Site Person in Charge Basic Track Awareness Hedge Trimmer (including long-arm hedge trimmer) Brushcutter / Strimmer Chainsaw Pole Pruner NPTC - Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-Cutting NPTC - Felling Small Trees up to 380mm Full UK driving licence Proven experience working within live rail environments Strong understanding of rail safety standards and operational procedures
