Job Title: Quality and Performance Monitoring Officer Grade: BR7 Salary: £30,463 Pro rata per annum Contract: Permanent, Part Time, 28 hours per week Working Hours: Between Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm Location: Bromley Civic Centre and community locations across the London Borough of Bromley Working Pattern: Hybrid working, with a minimum of 2 days per week office attendance and regular visits to care providers and people receiving services across Bromley Help Make a Difference to the Quality of Adult Social Care Services in Bromley The London Borough of Bromley is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Quality Assurance Officer to join our Quality and Provider Relations Team within Adult Social Care.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring that some of our most vulnerable residents receive safe, effective and high-quality care. Working closely with commissioned providers, people who use services, carers and professionals, you will help monitor standards, identify areas for improvement and contribute to maintaining a strong and responsive provider market. As part of the team, you will undertake quality monitoring visits to people receiving care in their own homes and extra care housing.

You will gather feedback, review service delivery, identify concerns and support the Council's work in promoting high standards of care across Bromley. About the Role You will: Conduct quality monitoring visits across a range of adult social care services. Engage directly with people receiving care, their families and carers to understand their experiences. Analyse information from visits, to identify themes and areas for improvement.

Support the investigation and escalation of provider concerns where quality or safety issues are identified. Work alongside colleagues, health partners and providers to promote continuous improvement. Contribute to reports, quality assurance activity and contract monitoring processes. Help ensure providers meet Care Act, CQC and Council quality standards. This is a varied role that combines community-based work, relationship management, quality assurance and analytical skills.

About You We are looking for someone who: Has experience of working with older people, vulnerable adults or within health and social care services. Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can build positive relationships with a wide range of people. Is confident gathering information, conducting visits and producing clear written reports. Can analyse information and identify potential risks, concerns or emerging trends.

Has good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications. Understands the importance of safeguarding, confidentiality and person-centred practice. Has knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and the standards expected of regulated care services. Is organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities effectively. Why Join Bromley?
