Job Title Quantity Surveyor – M&E / Building Services Summary We’re looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial aspects of a major, long-term construction project in Ardrossan. This role suits professionals confident working under NEC4 (Option C) with a background in M&E or building services. Salary Negotiable Location and Working Pattern Ardrossan | Permanent | Approximately three days per week on-site, with flexibility for the remaining days. Responsibilities Manage subcontractor accounts and ensure effective commercial performance Maintain accurate cost control, forecasting, and reporting Oversee valuations, applications, and payment processes Manage change control, variations, and final accounts Handle procurement and subcontract management activities Work under NEC4 Option C contract terms Must-have Requirements Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in M&E, building services, utilities, or related sectors Strong knowledge of NEC4, specifically Option C Experience managing subcontractors Previous involvement in complex, large-scale projects Excellent commercial and contractual awareness Relevant qualifications are advantageous but experience is essential Nice-to-have Skills Background in mechanical and electrical services (preferred but flexible) Benefits Company car Accommodation/lodging and travel expenses where applicable Company pension Healthcare Apply Now Ready to take on a high-profile project?
