Radiologic Technologist – Express Care | Full-Time | Florida Permanent & Full-Time Direct Hire Radiology | Express Care | Outpatient Imaging | Day/Evening Shift An established healthcare system located in South Florida, approximately 20 minutes from Fort Lauderdale, is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join its Express Care imaging team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a skilled Radiologic Technologist with at least one year of professional experience.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing diagnostic radiographic examinations in a fast-paced outpatient/express-care environment while providing excellent patient care. Schedule Full-time, permanent position Express Care/outpatient imaging environment 8:30 AM–9:00 PM schedule Day/evening coverage Schedule details to be discussed during the interview process Schedule requirements may vary based on operational needs Duties & Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to established protocols.

Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain examinations clearly. Verify patient identification, clinical history, and examination orders. Position patients appropriately for radiographic examinations. Operate radiographic equipment safely and effectively. Select appropriate imaging techniques based on the examination ordered. Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.

Evaluate images for technical quality and obtain additional images when appropriate. Maintain accurate patient and imaging documentation. Follow radiation-safety and ALARA principles. Maintain patient safety throughout imaging procedures. Practice appropriate infection-control procedures. Monitor patients and respond appropriately to changes in condition. Maintain imaging equipment and report equipment issues or malfunctions.

Perform required quality-control procedures. Maintain compliance with departmental, regulatory, safety, and quality standards. Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals. Provide compassionate and professional patient care. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment.

Participate in quality-improvement initiatives. Perform additional radiologic responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience required. ARRT certification/registry required. Appropriate Florida radiologic licensure required. BLS certification required. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required. Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning, anatomy, radiation safety, and image quality.

Demonstrated ability to independently perform routine diagnostic radiographic examinations. Outpatient, urgent-care, express-care, or hospital imaging experience preferred. Strong patient-care and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment. Ability to work the required day/evening schedule.
