MRI Technologist Schedule This position involves three 12-hour shifts or two 12-hour shifts combined with two 8-hour shifts. Shifts are scheduled between 06:00 – 18:30 or 08:00 – 20:30, with rotating weekends. It will require availability for call until 9 PM during weekends, and no overnight shifts are expected. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to perform imaging procedures and assist in patient care across a variety of settings.
The technologist will work effectively within interdisciplinary teams and ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging. Responsibilities Perform MRI scans and ensure the quality of images produced. Prepare patients for procedures and provide comfort during examinations. Administer contrast media as required for specific imaging studies. Adhere to safety protocols, including radiation safety and isolation precautions.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience preferred. Active ARRT MR certification required. ARRT R certification is also necessary. Certifications must be current at the time of submission. Active PA or Compact RN license required at submission.
