Recruitment Admin Temp to Perm £29,000 per annum Full time – On site Winchester The Role: We are looking for an organised and detail-focused Recruitment Administrator to join an HR team within an education environment. Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, you will play a key role in managing the recruitment process from initial application through to on-boarding, ensuring all required pre-employment checks are completed accurately and in line with relevant regulations.
This Role would suit someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, managing multiple priorities and ensuring everything is completed accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities ·Manage and complete pre-employment checks for new employees, contractors, volunteers, self-employed workers and occasional visitors. ·Monitor outstanding checks and documentation, following up with candidates where required.
·Complete relevant checks including criminal records, overseas checks and prohibition from teaching checks. ·Assist with creating job descriptions and adverts and advertising vacancies across relevant platforms. ·Coordinate interviews, including arranging schedules, inviting candidates and preparing interview paperwork. ·Communicate interview outcomes to candidates professionally and promptly. ·Manage the HR recruitment inbox and respond to queries by email and telephone.
·Support the onboarding of new starters, including coordinating relevant information, IT requirements and induction materials. ·Organise induction training for new support staff and provide general training administration. ·Assist with contracts, offer letters and other contractual documentation. ·Ensure employee records and personal details are kept accurate and up to date. ·Maintain HR records in accordance with GDPR and data protection requirements.
·Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including arranging meetings, preparing documents, minute taking and booking rooms/training facilities. We are looking for someone who is: ·Previous experience within HR, recruitment or personnel administration. ·Experience working in an education or other regulated environment (desirable) ·Detail-focused with excellent levels of accuracy. ·Confident managing a busy and varied workload.
·Proactive and able to use their own initiative to resolve issues. ·Comfortable working with confidential and sensitive information. ·A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills.
