The New Brunswick Housing Corporation is seeking an individual to join the Infrastructure Division as Regional Manager, Technical Services and Building Management, for the Northern Region.

The successful candidate may be based in one of the assigned regional offices, subject to operational requirements. The Northern Region includes Edmundston, Campbellton, Bathurst, the Acadian Peninsula, and Moncton. Who We Are The New Brunswick Housing Corporation is responsible for developing and maintaining provincial housing facilities, programs, initiatives, strategies, and rental services for landlords and tenants.

The Infrastructure Division supports the maintenance, renewal, and improvement of public housing assets and provides technical support for housing programs and related service delivery. The Technical Services and Building Management Branch is responsible for supporting the safe, effective, and consistent management of existing public housing buildings and related housing assets. This includes technical inspections, building management, maintenance services, preventative maintenance, unit rehabilitation, contractor oversight, and support to housing programs and strategic housing initiatives.

What You Will Do Reporting to the Director of Technical Services and Building Management, the Regional Manager will provide regional leadership, coordination, and operational oversight for technical services, building management, and maintenance operations across the assigned region. The successful candidate will directly supervise Technical Services Managers and provide indirect leadership to multidisciplinary regional teams involved in inspections, maintenance, trades, building operations, contractor coordination, and technical service delivery.

The Regional Manager will be responsible for: Leading the development and implementation of regional strategic and operational plans for technical services, building management, maintenance, inspections, unit rehabilitation, and asset renewal priorities Providing operational oversight and direction to Technical Services Managers to ensure consistent, safe, effective, and compliant service delivery across assigned regions Monitoring regional performance, service standards, maintenance priorities, inspection activity, vacancy turnaround, emergency response, contractor performance, and operational risks Reviewing and approving regional work plans, operational priorities, work order approvals, contract approvals, and budget-related decisions within delegated authority Supporting the development and implementation of preventative maintenance practices, inspection standards, reporting processes, and regional operating procedures Leading or supporting initiatives that improve service delivery, modernize maintenance and inspection practices, strengthen asset management, and support the transition from reactive to proactive building management Working with Program Delivery Managers, Housing Supervisors, Technical Services Managers, central office, contractors, and other partners to resolve complex regional issues and improve coordination between technical and program delivery functions Providing leadership during escalated or sensitive operational issues, including building safety concerns, fire or life safety issues, tenant displacement, urgent repairs, contractor performance concerns, and other high-impact regional matters Supporting financial and human resource management by monitoring regional budgets, identifying budget pressures, recommending mitigation strategies, supporting recruitment, managing performance, coaching staff, and addressing employee relations matters Overseeing regional and provincial service contracts r
