We are looking for an experienced Regional Nursing Supervisor to provide operational and supervisory leadership across multiple healthcare sites in the Gauteng region. Key Responsibilities Manage operational performance across assigned sites. Conduct regular site visits and monitor operational standards. Implement and ensure adherence to policies and procedures. Supervise nursing and operational staff, including Sisters in Charge, relief nurses and phlebotomists.
Monitor staffing levels, rosters, attendance and performance. Coach and mentor staff and assist with recruitment and disciplinary processes. Monitor laboratory service performance, specimen collection standards, turnaround times and quality indicators. Ensure appropriate specimen handling and support laboratory quality programmes. Conduct regional audits and implement corrective actions. Monitor compliance, investigate incidents and complaints, and escalate operational or clinical risks.
Monitor stock, consumables, equipment, expenditure and wastage. Travel between sites within the region and provide operational support where required. Requirements Relevant healthcare or laboratory qualification with SANC/HPCSA registration . Management qualification would be advantageous. Valid driver’s licence. Minimum 5 years' relevant laboratory experience . Previous supervisory or management experience with responsibility for 10+ staff .
Strong leadership, operational, quality and compliance experience.
