about the company Our client is a Tier-1 global supply chain and freight management giant with an extensive network spanning over 50 countries. about the job Drive regional air freight profitability and growth across APAC & Middle East by leading carrier procurement, capacity planning, and trade lane yield strategies. Procurement & Contracting: Develop regional procurement strategies, negotiate high-volume carrier rate agreements, and drive global incentive contracts.
Capacity & Network Strategy: Align regional trade lane demand with carrier allocations, optimising gateway networks and resolving capacity bottlenecks. Revenue & Yield Management: Own qualitative financial performance, setting pricing frameworks and optimising consolidation ratios to maximise profit margins. Subcontractor & Carrier Steering: Manage strategic airline and vendor relationships, establishing SLA performance frameworks and serving as the regional escalation point.
skills and experience required Min. 5 years of logistics procurement and leadership experience, with deep expertise in Air Freight capacity and trade lane management across APAC and Middle East. Proven track record in carrier negotiations, airline rate structuring, and regional revenue/profitability optimisation. Strong commercial acumen and cross-cultural communication skills; CargoWise experience.
