Assists in the daily routines of the Cardiology Department. Responsible for assisting RN and physician in the set up and completion of comprehensive cardiology testing(Stress).
Comply with the professional standards of the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.RESPONSIBILITIESPerform direct patient care specializing in echo related studies. Responsible for comprehensive cardiology testing on an as needed basis.Maintain departmental records, assists with order entry, scanning and filingServes as a resource person/mentor to non-registered staff assisting the department director to maintain a high quality of echo testing in cardiology.
Assist Director of Cardiology Services in quality assurance assessment and improvement activities.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSNYS registered echosonographerPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSEchocardiography experiecePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Moderate - Clinical - Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20-50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning.

TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements.PAY RANGE: $36.13 - $53.60 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
