Registered Nurse Infusion

Job Title Registered Nurse – Infusion Location Charleston, WV | Infusion Center Schedule / Job Type Contract | Full-Time | Days | 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide infusion therapy nursing care with a daily caseload of approximately 70 patients at a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio Perform and support CBCT/kV/mV imaging and external beam therapy treatments Administer IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy) and prophylactic treatments Adhere to Radiation Safety protocols and general radiation safety standards Document patient care and clinical information using the Cerner electronic health record system Required Qualifications Active, unencumbered West Virginia RN license or valid Compact RN license (no pending licenses accepted at start) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required Proficiency in CBCT/kV/mV imaging, external beam therapy, IMRT, and radiation safety Must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible (candidates between 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis) Flu vaccine required; medical exemption with documented allergist or physician documentation may be considered Preferred Experience / Skills Prior infusion center nursing experience Inpatient and/or outpatient oncology nursing experience Why Join Us Expected 40 hours per week providing stability and consistency throughout the contract First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply, making this an excellent opportunity to launch a travel nursing career
