Job Title Registered Nurse – LTAC ICU Location Columbia, SC | Long Term Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift | 4x12 Hours (19:00–07:30) | 13- to 26-week contract options available Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a Long Term Acute Care ICU setting on night shift Monitor and manage complex, critically ill patients requiring intensive nursing interventions Apply neurological nursing competencies to assess and care for neuro patients Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for weekends and after-hours coverage as needed Float to other units and/or campuses as requested based on census needs, performing only tasks within demonstrated competencies Complete required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated timeframes Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS certification required ACLS certification required NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required Minimum 2 years of ICU experience Minimum 1 year of recent EPIC EMR experience Must reside more than 100 miles from the contracted facility to be eligible at full rate; candidates residing 50–99.9 miles away may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 50 miles are ineligible Preferred Experience / Skills Prior LTAC experience strongly preferred Neurological nursing experience highly preferred Experience working in a travel or agency nursing capacity Why Join Us Expected weekly hours of 36–48 hours with a consistent night shift schedule in a specialized LTAC ICU environment Pre-assignment orientation modules may be reimbursable for up to 16 hours of completed work
