Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Location Latrobe, PA Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a surgical-focused Med/Surg unit with an emphasis on orthopedic, neurosurgery, general surgery, and urology patients Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care during night shift hours in a fast-paced inpatient environment Float within the hospital and, if needed, to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius as directed Participate in every-other-holiday scheduling as required Complete all required pre-start modules prior to entering the facility Required Qualifications Active Pennsylvania RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission Minimum 1 year of RN experience required Current AHA-issued BLS certification required at time of submission Candidates must be available to work every other holiday Must be willing to float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius if needed Local candidates are welcome and will be considered at the travel rate Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with Cerner electronic health records system Background in surgical nursing including orthopedic, neurosurgery, general surgery, or urology Two supervisor references preferred Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a specialized surgical environment gaining exposure across multiple high-acuity surgical subspecialties Travel pairs may be considered based on facility availability
