Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Title Registered Nurse – Operating Room Location Carbondale, IL | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Three 12-hour shifts per week | On-call required | No block scheduling Key Responsibilities Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team Provide patient and family education, explanations, and instructions as appropriate Apply clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition Maintain complete and accurate medical records in accordance with facility standards Contribute to a healthy workplace environment through professional communication and conflict management Required Qualifications Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license Current CPR/BLS certification ACLS certification Operating Room clinical experience Preferred Experience / Skills Experience in a perioperative or surgical services setting Familiarity with Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care Commitment to continuing education and professional development Why Join Us Opportunity to work within a nationally recognized, non-profit health system known for excellence across multiple service lines Supportive environment that values employee growth, professional development, and quality patient care
