Job Title Registered Nurse – Telemetry / Neurology Location Spokane, WA | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio Care for post-surgical neurology patients and patients with varied neurology diagnoses Administer and interpret the NIH Stroke Scale accurately and consistently Float between units within the facility as operationally needed Document all patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day Required Qualifications Active RN license required ; compact license must be in hand at time of submission Minimum 1 year of RN experience required Neurology nursing experience required, including comfort with the NIH Stroke Scale and care of post-surgical neurology patients Proficiency with Epic charting system Must submit all time-off requests upfront at the time of submission; post-offer requests may not be accommodated Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Preferred Experience / Skills Experience in a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma, or teaching hospital environment Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and high-acuity patient populations Ability to adapt to floating assignments across sister facilities as needed Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a large, high-acuity acute care setting with a diverse neurology patient population No on-call requirements and no parking fees associated with this assignment
