Registered Nurse Telemetry

Job Title Registered Nurse – Telemetry Location Saratoga Springs, NY | Telemetry Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a telemetry/step-down unit with a patient ratio of 1:4–5 Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; must pass a facility-proctored EKG exam requiring at least 85% overall accuracy and 100% accuracy in identifying critical rhythms Manage IV cardiac medications and continuous infusions for telemetry patients Participate in stroke care and management, including familiarity with CVA protocols Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR Float within the facility as needed within scope of practice and skill set Required Qualifications Active New York State RN License — must be in hand at time of submission BLS certification required ACLS certification required NIHSS certification required (may be obtained prior to start date) Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year of recent telemetry or step-down experience Proficiency with Epic for clinical documentation Flu vaccine or approved exemption required Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with critical drips and CVA/stroke patient populations Travel nursing experience preferred Familiarity with stroke care protocols and management Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a dynamic telemetry environment with a supportive clinical team Gain experience in a facility that values clinical excellence and cardiac care proficiency
