Title of Position: Restaurant General Manager Job Description: The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the restaurant in addition to budgeting and P&L.
The Restaurant General Manager will hire, train and coach hourly staff to adhere to state and company policies, provide spectacular food quality and exceed guest expectations. The ability to coach and offer constant performance feedback is essential as the Restaurant General Manager. As the Restaurant General Manager, you’ll also be expected to counsel, discipline and when necessary terminate staff and management.
Administrative functions of the Restaurant General Manager will include but are not limited to cash handling, in-restaurant human resource functions, scheduling and preparing daily/weekly/monthly reports. The Restaurant General Manager will also be expected to lead the team with confidence and ownership. The Restaurant General Manager will hold weekly management meetings to focus on building sales and increasing profitability as a team.
Solid leadership and communication skills will play a large role in being a successful Restaurant General Manager. Our Restaurant General Manager will also make certain that the restaurant and surrounding property are properly maintained.
