Job Description Develop and execute category management and sourcing strategies. Manage supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and supplier performance. Drive category profitability through assortment planning, promotions, and pricing strategies. Analyse market trends, consumer insights, and category performance data. Collaborate with dealers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to optimize product offerings and customer experience.
Ensure product quality, compliance, and effective category execution across retail sites. Minimum Requirements Matric / Grade 12 Degree (NQF Level 7) in Marketing, Sales & Marketing, Business Management, or a related field (advantageous). Minimum 8 years' experience in FMCG, Category Management, Buying, or Retail Merchandising. Strong commercial, analytical, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
Experience in category planning, promotions, and contract management. Willingness to travel and conduct site visits.
