Registered Nurse – Orthopedic, Post-Operative, Med/Surg Location Gallatin, TN Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 19:00 – 07:00, Open to 48 hours Guaranteed and Weekend Block Scheduling Job Description We are seeking a motivated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to the orthopedic, post-operative, and medical-surgical populations.
This position involves working within a collaborative environment to ensure positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients within the assigned department. Support patients in their recovery from surgical procedures and manage post-operative care. Monitor patient conditions and respond effectively to changes in status. Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
Educate patients and families regarding health management and post-discharge planning. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RN license to practice in Tennessee. 1+ years of nursing experience in an acute care setting. Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH.
