Travel RN – Behavioral Health Night Shift Location Aurora, CO Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Travel RN specializing in Behavioral Health to provide exceptional patient care for a 120-bed geriatric psychiatric unit. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, supporting patients with diverse mental health challenges.
Responsibilities Conduct behavioral health admissions and discharges. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage patient care. Utilize equipment including Welsh Allen VS machines and EMR systems (Meditech). Demonstrate strong behavioral health inpatient experience. Participate in lead RN resource classes and training. Float to other inpatient adult behavioral health units as needed. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RN licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification or Calm Every Storm certification. A minimum of 1 year of current behavioral health experience is required.
