Registered Nurse – Psychiatric Specialty Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shift: 07:00-19:30, with weekly guaranteed hours of 36. Weekend hours are required every other weekend or as needed. Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Registered Nurse with experience in Behavioral Health to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine understanding of mental health as an illness and will be comfortable providing care to a diverse patient population ranging in age from 18 to 99.
Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients with mental health disorders. Assess and document patient conditions using electronic health records. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Support patients in their recovery process while ensuring a safe environment. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop care strategies. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RN license in Ohio.
