Cath Lab RN Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule The team works 4 ten-hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 5 pm. Job Description The Cath Lab RN is responsible for providing specialized nursing care in the catheterization laboratory. The RN will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to ensure high-quality patient care and safety during procedures. Responsibilities Assist in performing catheterization procedures and monitor patients pre and post-procedure.
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedural process. Participate in STEMI coverage on weekends when scheduled. Utilize Epic for charting and documentation. Provide patient education and support regarding procedures and aftercare. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 2 years of nursing experience in a Cath Lab setting. Current RN license in South Carolina or compact state license.
