Registered Nurse (RN) – CVOR Unit Information Location: Arlington, TX Number of Operating Rooms: 10 Types of Staff Needed: Day Shift: RNs and Technicians Night Shift: RNs and Technicians Job Responsibilities The Registered Nurse (RN) in the CVOR unit will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Responsibilities may include: Assisting in the preparation and management of the surgical environment.
Monitoring patient vital signs and providing direct patient care. Collaborating with the surgical team to facilitate efficient surgical operations. Participating in patient assessments and care planning. Qualifications To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements: Required: Completion of PeriOp 101 with a focus on orthopedics and trauma experience. Preferred: The utilization of additional certifications and specialized skills related to surgical nursing will be considered advantageous.
Schedule This position requires availability for Monday through Friday shifts from 7 AM to 3 PM, with the expectation of being on-call for more than 15 days a month, including holidays. Dress Code Scrubs are required in the designated hospital-approved colors.
