Emergency Room Registered Nurse Schedule This is a 36-hour scheduled position with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. There are 24 hours guaranteed per week, subject to cancellation of one shift by the facility. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must demonstrate critical thinking skills and the ability to function independently in a challenging atmosphere.
Responsibilities Provide immediate care to patients in the emergency department. Perform triage assessments and manage patient flow. Collaborate with medical staff in developing treatment plans. Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed. Document patient progress and maintain accurate records. Respond to emergency situations and assist in life-saving procedures. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 24 months of Emergency Room experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
Current state nursing license with no adverse actions. Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC from approved vendors. Driver’s license to verify residency.
