Registered Nurse – Emergency Department Location Martinsville, VA Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 19:00 – 07:00 Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Provide emergency care to patients of all ages, including assessment and triage.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians. Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Document patient care activities in the electronic health record (EHR). Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active RN license in Virginia. ACLS, BLS, CPI/Handle with Care, NIH, PALS or ENPC certifications required.
