Emergency Room Registered Nurse Location Martinsville, VA Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 19:00 – 07:00 (Night Shift) Job Description Join our team as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse. You will be a vital part of our emergency services, providing care to patients across all ages in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will include assessing and managing patients in critical situations, ensuring the highest standards of care.
Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients. Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care. Participate in departmental meetings and continuous education opportunities. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RN license in Virginia.
ACLS, BLS, CPI/Handle with Care, NIH, PALS or ENPC certifications. 1-2 years of emergency room experience preferred. Ability to handle various patient populations including adult and pediatric.
