Registered Nurse – Emergency Room Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM with rotating weekends. No on-call requirements. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room. This role is essential in providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of patients requiring emergency services.
Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a busy emergency department. Evaluate and assess patient needs and implement appropriate medical interventions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and in accordance with protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes. Perform various procedures including splinting, EKGs, and airway support. Participate in behavioral health de-escalation and trauma assistance.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Valid RN license. ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS certifications. Experience in emergency care, trauma, and behavioral health is preferred.
