Contract RN – Emergency Room Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 09:00 AM to 09:00 PM, rotating weekends. No on-call required. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room team. The RN will provide high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment, assisting in emergency medical situations and ensuring efficient patient flow through the department.
Responsibilities Perform assessments and develop individualized nursing plans for patient care. Conduct EKGs, splinting, central monitoring, and assist with trauma procedures. Provide airway support and de-escalation techniques for behavioral health patients. Utilize advanced medical equipment effectively, including Alaris pumps and rapid infusers. Document patient care accurately in the EMR system (MEDITECH).
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RN license. ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS certifications required. Experience in emergency nursing and trauma care is preferred.
