Registered Nurse – Emergency Department Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed) Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with experience in the Emergency Department (ED), including Pediatric care. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a diverse patient demographic including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics, with common diagnoses such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure.
Responsibilities Provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment Participate in triage and patient assessments Administer medications and treatments as per protocols Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans Manage and monitor the use of specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusors and Arctic Sun Actively participate in patient education and support Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations, including documentation and reporting Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active RN license in New York Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (TNCC required to be in hand) At least 2+ years of experience in Emergency Department with Pediatric experience Travel experience is required NURSYS report for license verification EMR experience with EPIC is necessary Why ARMStaffing?
