Travel Registered Nurse – SICU – Night Shift Location Wichita, KS Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 7 PM to 7 AM Job Description We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Administer medication and treatments as prescribed Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes accurately Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans Assist in various procedures including chest tube placements and central line insertions Utilize advanced ICU equipment such as balloon pumps and ECMO Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1-year current hospital ICU experience ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required Preferred prior experience traveling to large trauma facilities Why ARMStaffing?
