Registered Nurse – MSICU Location San Antonio, TX Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM with weekend rotation. Job Description Join a team dedicated to providing high-quality care in the Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU). This position requires a commitment to patient-focused care, critical thinking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Provide high-quality healthcare to critically ill patients. Perform assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions. Administer medications and monitor patient responses. Maintain patient documentation using Meditech. Utilize strong critical thinking skills to evaluate patient condition and respond accordingly. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2-3 years of ICU experience. Active RN license in Texas (TEMP LICENSE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED). Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
