Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery Schedule This is a night shift position, requiring 3×12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend and potential holiday scheduling. Job Description The Registered Nurse will provide care for laboring patients in a high-acuity setting. The position requires floating to various units, including MAU, MBU, and OBSC. Responsibilities Administer medications and perform nursing procedures for laboring patients.
Assist in high-risk deliveries and other obstetric procedures. Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and respond to abnormalities. Provide support and education to patients and families during labor and delivery. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV, respiratory, and pharmacy services. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in Labor and Delivery.
Active RN license required at the time of submission. Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required. AWHONN Intermediate certification is preferred.
