Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery Schedule This is a 13-week contract position with 3×12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Every other weekend and holiday coverage will be required. Job Description The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to laboring patients in a high-acuity setting. The role involves floating to various areas, including MAU, MBU, and OBSC as needed. Responsibilities Administer care to laboring patients and assist with high-risk deliveries.
Utilize therapeutic interventions for effective labor management. Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, including fetal heart rates and maternal health. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes. Document care accurately using Epic EMR. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery. Active RN license required at the time of submission.
