Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 12-hour day shifts, 7a-7p, every 3rd weekend with Holiday Rotation. Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in a Critical Access Hospital. This role involves providing comprehensive care in the labor and delivery unit, as well as post-partum and mother and baby care.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring a safe and supportive environment for mothers and their newborns during their critical moments. Responsibilities Provide direct care to laboring mothers and newborns. Monitor and assess patients during labor, delivery, and recovery. Support post-partum recovery and educate mothers on infant care. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Valid RN license in the state of practice. Experience in labor and delivery nursing preferred.
