Registered Nurse – MedSurg / Telemetry Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a dynamic MedSurg/Telemetry unit. This position will involve caring for general medical patients and surgical patients awaiting procedures in a 10-bed admission unit, where the patient load is expected to turn over rapidly. Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Work independently while managing a patient ratio of 5:1. Perform rapid admissions and assist with care transitions. Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety and satisfaction. Qualifications Must possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a MedSurg/Telemetry specialty. Strong capacity for clear communication and independent decision-making. Complete and accurate work history, skills checklist, and references. Verification of nursing license through Nursys is required.
