Registered Nurse – MedSurg / Telemetry Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in MedSurg and Telemetry to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience with telemetry and a strong background in medical-surgical nursing. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care during night shifts. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the MedSurg and Telemetry units.
Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding promptly to any changes in patient conditions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans. Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies. Qualifications Current Massachusetts RN License.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association). Minimum of 3 years of applicable MedSurg/Telemetry nursing experience. Experience with Meditech software preferred. Ability to work nights, including every other weekend and holiday. Additional Information COVID-19 vaccination and 2024/2025 Flu vaccine are required prior to starting the position. A telemetry competency test will be administered on the first day of orientation.
