Registered Nurse – MedSurg / Telemetry Job Summary The MedSurg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) will be part of a fast-paced admission unit catering to general medical patients and surgical patients awaiting procedures. This is a dynamic environment where patient loads are rapidly admitted and discharged, thus requiring RNs to adapt quickly and work independently. Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to medical and surgical patients.
Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, including telemetry requirements. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Manage a patient ratio of 5:1 while ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Document relevant patient information accurately and timely. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in MedSurg/Telemetry nursing. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. Comprehensive work history with no gaps greater than 60 days.
