Registered Nurse – Med/Tele Unit Schedule NIGHTS – 12HR: 7P-7A. Available shifts are 36 and 48 hours per week, with a requirement of 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Candidates must also be willing to work at least 1 holiday during the contract period. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Med/Tele Complex Care Unit, which consists of 37 beds.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in acute medical-surgical and telemetry nursing. Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Tele unit. Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered. Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, interpreting data to formulate care plans. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Document patient care comprehensively using EPIC charting system. Assist in charge nurse responsibilities as needed. Be flexible to float to other units as necessary. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical and telemetry nursing. Two years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates. Active New York RN license. AHA BLS certification.
