MS/Tele Float RN – Night Shift Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night Shift: 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30) Job Description The MS/Tele Float RN will provide care across various units, including medical-surgical, telemetry, and emergency room boarded patients. The role requires flexibility to address the staffing needs of the institution by floating between different units as necessary.
Responsibilities Provide comprehensive patient care in a floating capacity. Manage patient assignments based on unit acuity with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-6. Perform charge nurse duties on smaller units as needed, including staff management and bed flow coordination. Document patient information and care using the EPIC charting system. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RN license (Compact license required).
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in the U.S. (Canadian experience not accepted). Previous charge nurse experience is required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
