Registered Nurse – Night Shift (Telemetry) EOW Floating Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift, 3×12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00), every other weekend floating required. Job Description The Registered Nurse will manage patient care for adult and geriatric patients with a focus on telemetry and general medical/surgical cases. The nurse will perform nursing assessments, coordinate care, administer medications, and ensure adherence to protocols.
Responsibilities Providing nursing care to 6-7 patients per shift. Managing telemetry and monitoring patients’ vital signs. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Performing patient assessments and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams. Utilizing skills such as IV management, blood product administration, and care of chest tubes. Implementing isolation precautions and managing infection control.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active nursing license (PA/compact) with a minimum of 2 years of experience preferred. Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS required.
