Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Unit Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift: 3×12 hour shifts (18:45 – 07:15) with weekend coverage every other weekend. Job Description The Registered Nurse will provide patient care on a medical/surgical unit primarily focusing on adults and geriatrics. The RN will be responsible for handling higher acuity med-surg patients and specialized care for stroke and TIA patients.
This position emphasizes a high-quality patient experience and may involve float responsibilities to other units based on need and skill set. Responsibilities Manage patient care for a caseload of 6 patients during night shifts. Administer medications and treatments as required. Perform special procedures as needed, including continuous bladder irrigation and peritoneal dialysis. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Ensure patient safety and comfort through effective communication and assessment. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active RN license in Tennessee. Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, with at least 1 year of experience using EPIC EMR. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS are required. Previous charge experience is required. Why ARMStaffing?
