Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Schedule This is a night shift position, requiring 3×12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Job Description The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. This role involves floating to similar units as required and covering weekends every other week, based on departmental needs. Responsibilities Administer medications and perform bedside procedures including dialysis catheter insertion, thoracentesis, and incision & drainage (I&D).
Monitor and manage patients with telemetry needs, providing effective nursing care in a fast-paced environment. Utilize the Omnicell medication system to track and administer medications accurately. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must have an active RN TN license. At least 1 year of experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MS/Tele) required.
1 year of experience with EPIC EMR is mandatory. Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Previous charge experience is a plus. Why ARMStaffing?
