Registered Nurse – Night Shift (3×12 Hour) Contract Position Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift from 18:45 to 07:15, 3×12 hours, with weekend coverage every other weekend. Job Description The Registered Nurse will work on an inpatient unit specializing in stroke and TIA patients, providing high-acuity medical-surgical care as needed. The role involves working to enhance patient experience and quality of care, while also floating to other units based on the need and skill set.
Responsibilities Administer medications via an Omnicell system. Manage care for patients with various conditions including stroke, respiratory failure, and acute kidney failure. Perform special procedures such as peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation. Monitor vital signs and assess patient health status to manage care effectively. Participate in team-based approaches to improve patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active Tennessee RN license. At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse. 1 year of EPIC experience is required.
