Schedule Day shift, with 12-hour shifts on a 3-day schedule. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg-Tele Registered Nurse (RN) for a 10-bed admission unit, focusing on general medical and surgical patients. This unit operates with rapid admissions, so the RN must effectively manage a patient load that may turn over faster than typical medical-surgical units.
Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as necessary. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Work independently while managing a patient ratio of 5:1. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med/Surg-Tele specialty.
Current BLS and ACLS certification required. Valid RN license, with verification through Nursys. Comprehensive work history with no gaps greater than 60 days.
