Med/Surg-Tele Registered Nurse (RN) – Day Shift Schedule This position requires a Day 12×3 shift schedule. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg-Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This role is focused on a 10-bed rapid admission unit specializing in general medical and surgical patients awaiting procedures. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Nursing professionals will experience a higher turnover rate of patient load compared to traditional medical-surgical units. Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a rapid admission unit. Monitor and assess patient conditions, performing necessary interventions. Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Maintain documentation and follow protocols for patient admissions. Ensure compliance with BLS and ACLS certification requirements. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing role. Current RN license and Nursys license verification required. Valid BLS and ACLS certification required. Previous work history must display no gaps greater than 60 days.
